Kids Like Ours
Support for caregivers and parents caring for a child with mental illness or complex grief and loss, from someone who's been there.
Sometimes, seeking help from someone who has walked in your shoes, who feels like an old friend, and happens to have 20 years of experience in child welfare, is the best way to put things into perspective. As a parent, mental health counselor and social worker - who has been there myself - your dignity and well-being are my priorities. I’m here to listen without judgement, to witness, to share my experiences, and to foster hope, with the attention and care that you deserve as a caregiver.

Before you judge me, walk a mile in my shoes and walk the life I'm living. Only then you'll see just how strong I really am.
